i don’t know if the kid i was would like the man i am becoming
i went for a walk today. first one in a while. no uniform, no headphones, no real destination. most of the time i am running or i am heading to work or somewhere work-related.
it was nice.
it reminded me of Los Angeles. there was a rather pleasant sunset with a chilly breeze blowing in form the ocean. thankfully the place i live at now is near the sea so it’s a little comforting.
but this isn’t L.A. its way too….peaceful. i miss that noise. the chaos of a million different people heading to a million different places. i found it hilarious that now that i’m a thousand miles away from home i miss those things that used to annoy me.
and thats just the stuff i don’t like. if i can feel this about the things i never particularly enjoyed you cant even imagine how much i miss the things i loved.
it was easy to just blend into the crowd back home. here chances are if you walk outside you’re going to run into someone you know/work with. *sigh*
you can take the boy out the city…
